Rush Generations and the Waud Resource Center supports National Family Caregivers Month!

Rush Generations and the Waud Resource Center celebrates National Family Caregivers Month, a time to thank, support, educate and empower family caregivers, those individuals providing care to loved ones living with chronic illness, disability or the frailties of old age.

On November 12 from 2 to 3 p.m. ET, the National Family Caregivers Association is hosting a free program for anyone caring for a loved one taking multiple medications called Safe & Sound: How to Prevent Medication Mishaps. The free program can be listened to by phone or on-line and will improve family caregivers understanding of their loved ones' medication issues. For information and registration, visit: www.thefamilycaregiver.org or call (800) 896-3650.
